T. J. Simers was one of the original "Around the Horn" panelists on ESPN, and also hosted shows on KLAC and Fox Sports Radio, along with being a sportswriter for the L.A. Times until he was fired, died of cancer over the weekend. I always enjoyed listening to his show on the weekends on Fox Sports Radio, he was a great broadcaster!
