If Brian couldn't make it for Infinity Brass at KFRC-FM in San Francisco any longer what now makes the renamed CBS Radio big wigs think he can do any better in the big apple? Go Figure! But Good Luck to Brian anyway! WCBS back to Oldies?

Rumors be true..from RNR..

Brian Thomas To Helm Jack/NYC

Veteran PD Brian Thomas takes over programming duties today at CBS Radio's Adult Hits WCBS- FM (101.1 Jack-FM)/New York. Thomas, who has been programming Entercom Oldies KBSG/Seattle for approximately 14 months, has also spent some time in the Bay Area as PD of Infinity Oldies KFRC/San Francisco and OM of Clear Channel's KCNL, KSJO & KUFX/San Jose.

Thomas does not replace anyone; the station has been without a PD since its flip from Oldies in June 2005.

WCBS VP/GM Chad Brown says, "Brian has consistently proven himself to be one of the industry's most creative and respected programmers. He brings major market experience in formats ranging from CHR to Oldies, Hot AC and Classic Rock to Jack FM at a key time in the development of this new and unique brand in New York."
