Deanne Lane, who reported and anchored at KSDK St. Louis for 27 years, died 1/30 following a stroke. The daughter of Detroit sportscaster Ray Lane, she worked at high school and college radio stations before transitioning in television while attending Michigan State University. At KSDK, she earned seven local Emmy awards for anchoring and reporting and five awards from the Missouri Broadcasters Association. In 2017, she was inducted into the St. Louis Media Hall of Fame.
