Former KTOK hosts questions- Carlton Codell, Billie Roadie

Just recalled some of the former great hosts at the once-great talk station.

Anyone remember Mr. Codell? I'm not sure if I have his name correctly.

He was on the air before the station went to Larry King late at night.

Then there was Billie Roadley or something, who was a host there for years.

Anyone know what happened to those hosts?

Thanks. I did some searching and realize I didn't have her name spelled correctly.
It's Billie Rodely. I remember her as a long-time voice on KTOK. Then I heard her on KOMA in news.

Now, the latter is entirely syndication while KTOK is a shell of itself, airing mostly cheapo syndicated shows, thanks to the geniuses at Cheapo Channel.

I'm surprised no one has posted a recall of this Codell host, who used to be a talk host at KTOK late nights, before they brought in Larry King.

This was years ago and I may have my name incorrect. But the name sure sounded like Carlton Codell or something.

Also, I recall an afternoon KTOK talk host during the late 1980s named Jerry or something. He was a great talk host. ( This was before the station added Rush ).

The host's show often had this cantankerous or crank caller who always complained about everything. No matter the topic, it was too expensive, etc., and the old man caller could do nothing but complain.

One afternoon, while the complainer was on the air with the host, another caller called in and wanted to go after the crank. So the host said, "Listen, I'm going to let Bill in Edmond and the crank argue with each other."

So both callers went after each other. It was hilarious.
