KOAS Hires Briggs
LYNN BRIGGS has been named MD/midday host at RIVIERA BROADCAST GROUP Smooth Jazz KOAS (105.7 THE OASIS)/LAS VEGAS, effective JANUARY 2. BRIGGS had been middayer at now-defunct CBS RADIO Smooth Jazz KOAI/DALLAS since 2001. She's also been on-air at WQHT (HOT 97)/NEW YORK and PD/MD of KJLH/LOS ANGELES.
"LYNN has an irrepressible energy that allows her to uniquely connect with listeners," RIVIERA/LAS VEGAS VP/GM DAVE PRESHER says. "Her energy and experience will help RIVIERA, along with JJ JEFFERIES and [KOAS PD] SAMANTHA PASCUAL continue to be one of the top programming teams in the format and the LAS VEGAS market."
