This discussion began as information on alternate music outlets for displaced fans of Outlaw 92.5. I wasn't the one who brought up satellite radio. I'm here because I'm a fan of radio, period. And, I'm sad to see radio in the condition that it is. Radio's current condition is why I have satellite radio.
While this may be a radio board, should it be a "trash satellite radio" board?
Again, I believe that radio guys like Medlin need to stop trashing satellite radio. Do you read posts from anybody on this board really applauding the content on his station? I want to see terrestrial radio reinvent itself and succeed in the face of new threats, such as satellite radio, Ipods, etc. For that to happen, radio guys like Medlin need to stop living in denial about satellite, and start focusing on what it takes for terrestrial radio to become relevant again.
