Does anyone know if Mainline has officially taken control of the Louisville cluster yet?

They just took over a couple of days ago. They just took over the Dayton cluster and fired the GM. I wonder if they plan on outting the Louisville GM too.

Mainline are investors. They have many ventures with radio just being one of them. If any of the stations they purchased is under performing financially they will be gone. Watch the bloodbath ensure in the coming days and weeks.

The WDJX Top-of-the-Hour IDs (not all of which are legal at the moment) have been redone to say "A Mainline Broadcasting Station" instead of "A Radio One Station". Aside from that and the end of the WLRS simulcast, it's been business as usual . . . for now.

Oh goodie. We get even MORE radio orientated toward the shareholders instead of the listeners.

Mainline dumped the GM in Dayton after legally taking control of the cluster. Perhaps the same will occur at Mainline/Louisville. Dale Shaefer may want to update his resume. Seems like a nice man, though.

Good, maybe Mainline will actually stream the damn stations that stupid Radio One is stubborn/reluctant to do! Sorry, I just hate radio broadcasting companies like Cumulus whose stations don't stream or most of them don't.
