Former River/B98.5 OM Jeff McHugh gets new gig

from press release. McHugh was here for just a few months if I recall correctly.

Clear Channel Radio St. Louis Names Jeff McHugh Program Director for KSLZ-FM and WSDD-FM

St. Louis, MO, January 4, 2010- Beth Davis, President/Market Manager of Clear Channel Radio St. Louis, today announced the appointment of Jeff McHugh to Program Director for radio stations KSLZ-FM and WSDD-FM.

Davis said: “Jeff brings outstanding talent and experience to our team. We are excited about the contributions he will make as we move into the new year, offering St. Louis the most compelling radio for our listeners, advertisers and community.”

McHugh said: "What a rush! To join the renowned Z1077, and to be part of St. Louis listeners’ excitement as they discover the new 100.3 The Sound! What better job for a broadcaster than to work with foreground radio programming that listeners care passionately about. And how lucky am I to work at stations that I will actually enjoy listening to at high volume!"

McHugh previously served as Program Director of KRSK-FM in Portland, Oregon, and prior to that, he held the same position for radio stations WKZL-FM and WKRR-FM in Greensboro, North Carolina. He has also held the position of Operations Manager for WSB-FM and WSRV-FM in Atlanta.
McHugh’s appointment is effective immediately.

Z107.7 has two Atlanta radio legends; MJ in the morning and Ryan Seacrest on middays. I would guess that Kate McCarthy will get her wish, that talentless hack Jordan Graye will be going to St. Louis soon. I wonder if Chris Domino will give her tips on how to survive the Gateway City.
