Former Rochester Radio Host suffers possible seizure while on the air

Allaccess.com is reporting that morning show host ELLIS FEASTER suffered a medical emergency -- what doctors think may have been a seizure -- during his shift on CENTRAL FLORIDA EDUCATIONAL Contemporary Christian WPOZ (Z88.3)/ORLANDO on Monday.

His co-host and co-workers took good care of him, as ELLIS explains on FACEBOOK, "If you didn't hear, I had a seizure during the show yesterday. TYLER and Producer SIERRA called 911, watched over me, and prayed over me until paramedics arrived.

I know it must have scared my wonderful wife, HOPE, who was on the air, down the hall, at G106.3. I am so thankful to GOD that all of the tests I have taken have been negative for any serious problems. If you are a praying person, I hope you'll keep me in your prayers for a swift return to Z88.3."

Wow. Scary moments. It's good to hear that they haven't found anything serious so far, but it has to be worrisome until they determine the cause. Prayers for Mr. Feaster.

From a later Facebook update: Ellis seems to be recovering nicely.

Great guy … who regularly had one of the best and most entertaining morning-drive shows on ROC radio a couple decades ago (two different stints, if I recall correctly).
