Former SW engineer

A brief introduction... Many moons ago I was a frequency planning engineer for a major international broadcaster and had to handle many things from navigating HF propagation to negotiating for FM/AM licences in far flung places. Later I was a transmitter engineer for a number of radio stations in the UK. Now I work in the Caribbean but regularly visit family in the USA. Very interested in FM and AM DX as well as broadcast engineering.

I should probably add that the nickname 'Reverend' comes from the fact that my initials are 'R V' so I got called 'Rev' a lot, rather than being anything religious!
