WLZR 102.9 (Now the Hog) was a rocker for about 18 years. In the past years they were getting real lazy and not really doing anything with the station. They were resting on their laurels, thinking no one could knock them off.
Well the Brew 97.3 came along and not only knocked WLZR down, but sister station WKLH 96.5 (Classic Hits). Both stations sounded tired.
To be honest, having listened to the flip today, it was no big deal. So they took a few artists out of the lineup. They blew up a station for that?
Interesting...their #1 morning show: Bob and Brain, at the end of their show, just before they flipped, were talking about how they hated the music they played and that they knew that everyone turned the station off after they left. They also talked about how they would listen to other stations and woul dnot allow WLZR to be played in their homes.
Well here we have the HOG with a SLIGHTLY different play list. And between each song we hear a pig grunt...realllll nice (yuck!!).
Can we send him back now??? Please?
