Former WKLS 96 Rock GM Tom Connolly Passes

Tom Connolly passed August 23, 2019 at the age of 75.

Tom was the GM of 96 Rock during the real success years in terms of demos and ratings. I seem to remember a #1 12+ book back in the mid 80s. He was there from Taft to Clear Channel...seems he did Cumulus penance after that and then retired. Maybe someone else knows more.
 
After Clear Channel acquired Jacor, Tom Connolly was named head of the cluster. But ultimately he ran into John Hogan. I believe he headed Cumulus/Savannah before he retired.
