Jeannine Lauber recorded a Casco, Maine town meeting in which a selectwoman who forwarded a derogatory email about Michelle Obama was confronted with demands for her resignation. Lauber circulated her recording to the media, and WMTW made it the lead story on one of its newscasts. Lauber's role in publicizing the selectwoman's conduct, and Lauber's motivations for doing so, are being questioned.
