Just announced on 1510 WMEX, former 103.3 WODS and 105.7 WROR host/DJ Paul Perry will begin weekday mornings 7 AM-10 AM on 1510 WMEX this Tuesday 9/7 (after Labor Day Monday).
I don't know how this will affect the rest of their weekday schedule. I'm going to guess that mid-day DJ, original WMEX 1960's legend Larry Justice, will cut down an hour, beginning his show at 10 AM still running to 2 PM, and I'm guessing that afternoon host/DJ "Benny Rabi" (Ben Rabinowitz, 2-6 PM) may not be affected.
Also guessing that the weekday morning simulcast of the WATD South Shore Morning News magazine program, produced/hosted by Rob Hakala, will either be dropped from WMEX, or maybe the first two hours from 5 AM-7 AM may still be simulcast.
Overnights 6 PM to 5 AM have been oldies/classic hits from the MeTV Music network.
