former WPRI anchor headed to WCBS

FTVLive is reporting information from "New York insiders" that former WPRI anchor (and current NBC Early Today anchor) Kristine Johnson is heading to WCBS-TV Channel 2 in New York. Word is that Johnson mentioned on Early Today that she is leaving the program, but didn't say what her plans were.

If this news is true, I am very happy for Kristine. I wish her nothing but the best of luck. This is an excellent move by WCBS.

I wonder what pays more and which is truly the better career move. Her current slot on "Early Today" (or) her new home at WCBS. I think this would be a hard choice for me to make. I would think that the visability and possibly the Money would be better at "Early Today" since it is a National Broadcast. But maybe not. Well either way Congratulations to her!
