Former WSB-TV anchor/reporter makes big in Sacramento

Former channel 2 south metro reporter and weekend co-anchor John Alston has just been named the 6&11pm co-anchor for the NBC affiliate in Sacramento. One of his former co-anchors Sandra Bookman still holds down the weekend slot at the ABC O&O in NYC.

He's indeed in Seattle. He's now at WSB's sister station KIRO.

What happened to reportette Shanon Walsh? She was with CBS 46 for a while and moved over to WSB. Have not seen her in a while and do not see her name on their bio page.

Don't forget about Marc Bailey. He does mornings at the Fox affiliate, XETV 6, in San Diego. Former CNN anchor Brian Christie anchors Fox 6's 10pm newscast there.<P ID="signature">______________

Gurvir Dhindsa, former co-host of Good Day Atlanta(with Marc Bailey) went to WUSA-TV(DC) and then to Fox5 in DC, I'm not sure if she's still there or not.

Janette Smith, also a former co-host of Good Day Atlanta, went on to the DIY Network.

Deiah Riley, former anchor with Brenda Wood at 11Alive, is now at ABC Action News(WFTS) in Tampa.

Calvin Hughes, former WGCL-TV Atlanta anchor is now a CBS 3(KYW in Philly) weekend morning news co-anchor.

Jennifer Gladstone, former WGCL-TV reporter and fill-in anchor is now at Sinclair's News Central.

Chris McWatt, former co-anchor with Lori Wilson(I think) on Good Morning Atlanta for a short while, is now at HGTV hosting his own show, Weekend Warriors.

That's all I can think of off the top of my head..
