FTVLive is reporting that "Atlanta insiders" say WGCL (Atlanta's CBS affiliate) has "optioned out" of anchor Rich Noonan's five-year contract.Word is that Noonan will be replaced by an African American anchor. You may remember Noonan was let go by WTXF (Fox 29) and was replaced by an African American male. He sued the station for reverse discrimination and the parties reached settlement before going to trial. No word in Noonan plans on suing WGCL in this case. The very low-rated CBS affiliate in Atlanta is owned by Meredith.
