Buffalo Former WYRKer Gets Syndicated

CONGRATS Katie Days well deserved.... YRK gave up a HUGE talent
You really should read other posts before you add new ones.

The more info and different articles, the better.

I am not sure why Katie was really let go, or left, but YRK is a heritage station that knows what they are doing.

I am sure there was a decent explanation for parting. Many times, these decisions are made by, or dictated by c-suite. Locally, management may have had nothing to do with it.

I am happy for Katie, but she didn’t sign with Premier, or Westwood. I have never heard of the company that now represents her. Many people get syndicated and it does not work out. Rochester’s great Wease was syndicated here in Buffalo. While he is an amazing talent, and humanitarian, it simply did not work out.

They will test Katie a bit, see what happens, and take it from there. She should be proud to be in a position like that. I hope she does well

Interesting! The large online ad for her show has continued for weeks on the RAMP website, but I have yet to see an article with a list of stations that have picked up her show. Maybe she's simply not radio's next big thing.
