Fort Myers: Program Pre-emptions for Local Coverage of Hurricane Irma

The English-language tv stations in the Fort Myers/Naples market have pre-empted national and syndicated programming on their main signals for local coverage of Hurricane Irma.

WINK TV moved the SEC game to WXCW (which itself pre-empted all CW and syndicated programming to simulcast WINK TV).

WBBH TV "NBC 2" moved network programming to its DT2 subchannel; the same with WZVN TV "ABC 7"...they consolidated their news coverage for this storm just like they did during Hurricane Charley.

WFTX TV "FOX 4" simply pre-empted FOX programming; their subchannels are still airing normal programming from Escape (DT2) and LAFF (DT3).

WINK TV (CBS affiliate station) moved "The NFL Today" and "NFL on CBS" game between the NY Jets and the Buffalo Bills to WXCW.
