Fort Walton Beach, FL possible e*skip (a few days ago)

Right before it turned chilly, I pulled in a few atlanta stations. Though we have a 104.1 here, i was able to hear PeachTree City, 404 area code and a station's call sign.

A few other stations were coming in that were unkown to me also.

The way this was strong sounded like it was ground and not e skip. I don't know how far FWB is from Atlanta (our ISP peers from atlanta)

Was this on Dec 30? I too was able to hear 104.1 WALR "Kiss 104.1 Altanta's Old School R&B Station" that evening along with a number of other Atlanta area stations and others in GA,SC,NC. That was tropo. Sometimes it's hard to tell the difference but tropo usually doesnt fade in and out and switch stations rapidly the way E skip does. We had some E skip on the afternoon of Jan 26 to Mexico, Jamaica, Dominican Republic and Cuba. It was all rather weak, all Spanish except for the Jamaicans and only at the lower part of the FM band. E skip almost always appears at the bottom end of the band unless it's very intense. Tropo isnt so selectable. Either way it's all good.
