What does your crystal ball say regarding the recently concluded ratings book in fort wayne? Will The River increase ratings with its format?
As long as there are people in Fort Wayne 50+ who want nothing but Frank Sinatra of course it will.
How will WMEE's decision to go all Santa affect its ratings match with Majic?
It never has, why would it now?
Will Man at Large be laughing at Summit City or leaving for Alaska with his tail between his legs?
The situation at Summit before was an absolutel joke. Poor management making extremely poor decisions was the order of the day. I've heard that things have changed for the better so maybe he's gotten out of what could have been a good situation. However, if I'm not mistaken, the same investment group who owns Summit also owns the station he's going to in Alaska so it may have actually been a lateral move for him.
With Weasel going solo most of the book, will Hot's ratings suffer? Will Hots Chris Cruise first full book prove fruitful for him?
No and probably. It doesn't matter if someone's listening to Hot or Wild, they're more than likely going to mark down Hot because, well, that's what they've done for the last five years. However, I will point out that (thankfully) Wild has seemed to shake off their identity crisis that they've had for years and are finally distinguishing themselves from hot. For a long time the mentality at Wild was "if we're going to beat Hot we've got to be Hot." That has never worked anywhere and it never will. This Fall will prove to be interesting... and may even decide a format flip if the rumors are true.
