Foster The People-Helena Beat

Honestly, I think they're gonna be one-hit wonders - hope I'm wrong though...

IMO Helena Beat would have to be completely remastered/rerecorded to even dent the CHR/Pop Top 40

all their stuff sounds radio friendly. how does it sound any different than Pumped Up Kicks minus the words used, the obvious things about it

With Helena Beat, the vocals are recorded extremely softly to blend in with the music, and the sound is really industrial

They're apparently sending Don't Stop (Color On The Walls) to AAA, and I think I read that it's going to HAC and CHR also as the second single

Helena Beat is my favorite track off of "Torches" but I don't think it would do well at CHR. I think "Houdini" has a shot, because it sounds almost exactly like MGMT's "Electric Feel", which received some CHR airplay and I even heard it a few times on KPWR.

Just to clear this up, the follow-up to Pumped Up Kicks on CHR is going to be Don't Stop (Color On The Walls) - according to AllAccess.com

That makes sense, considering that Nissan has been using it in their TV & Internet ads for months now.

"Radio 104.5" (WRFF) in Philadelphia is playing "Don't Stop". The radio version of the song is heavily remixed compared to the album version, and is even more annoyingly over-produced.
