These guys from Los Angeles are HUGE right now. "Pumped Up Kicks" just finally hit #1 on the Alternative/Modern Rock chart, ousting heavyweights Foo Fighters :eek:. Saw them play yesterday at the 2011 WFNX Clambake behind Fenway Park (which drew thousands into the Boston streets), they were amazing to see live. They are innovative, fresh, and have a unique and upbeat indie pop sound. When I first heard "Pumped Up Kicks" months ago I was blown away. The new album "Torches" is getting great reviews. It's everything that Alternative Radio has needed. Expect big things from FTP in the future!!
 
It goes for CHR adds in July (with a Radio Edit remix), so I'm hoping for a huge crossover smash! It's already added at KIIS/Los Angeles and Y100/Miami, two rhythmic-leaning pop stations...
