Found a very good RFI tutorial

Perhaps someone could share this information with the FCC, so they could begin fining non-compliant mfrs, and hopefully bring about some properly engineered power supplies, motor drives, and control systems.

I would love to see my employer fined into placing proper filtering networks on their power...
and about a million other industrial users who would like to pretend their trash doesn't go back out on the line.

Lamp dimmers should cost about 100 dollars for a non-filtered design, just like in industrial trade for pollution.
A properly engineered one that "sounds" like a passive rheostat ( makes NO RF noise) should be a proper $20.

I'd just like to see Rocky Mountain Power get the huge rate increase they asked the State Utilities Commission for, so they will start back handling RFI and PLI complaints.
They said they were going to hold off on maintenance issues until they got what they wanted.
Guess we have to give in.
