Found this Funny ...

... that "The Blend" on Sirius/XM is airing an edited version of "Gotye - Somebody That I Used To Know" with a word in Kimbra's line "now and then I think of all the times you screwed me over" awkwardly bleeped out with a blank spot. "Now and then I think of all the times you (blank spot) me over." Meanwhile, every terrestrial radio station in my area plays it as-is! :p Any reason why "The Blend" would be so cautious with a word that isn't even considered indecent when used in those terms, especially given the fact they don't fall under FCC guidelines like terrestrial radio anyway? I teach a radio workshop at a college where we cover indecency and I found this funny. It'd be one thing if the edited version sounded good, but it actually sounds awkward. Is "The Blend" maybe trying to be extra family-friendly? In that case, I will commend them. Just found it funny.

We have heard Symphony Hall play uncensored recordings of Claude Debussy's, Sacred and Profane Dances, and Edward Elgar's pro-drug, Cockaigne Overture, without even so much as parental warnings. ;D

What about CeLo Greens "Forget You"? I'm not in favor of censoring on subscription services, but to be honest, I like CeLo's "Forget You" better than his original "F&&K You" version - it flows better as a song.
