FOUND: Vintage Ohio airchecks on reel-to-reel on YouTube: WCLT, WLVQ, WRMZ, WDBN

I have no connection to whoever posted these. Don't even know who they are. As best I can tell, they're digitizing some reel-tp-reel tapes and posting them without regard to the contents.

Whoever originally recorded these was after jazz programming. Part of this is what sounds like a syndicated show on WCLT Newark (Summer of 1979 based on the then new releases), then disco programming on WRMZ - positively ID'ed to July 28, 1979 based on the news broadcast.

More jazz programming on WLVQ from the same era.

Easy listening on WDBN Medina - ID'ed to January 25, 1975 from the commercials and news reports interrupted around the 3 hour, 15 minute mark for the second half of Ashland vs. Malabar high school football as broadcast on WMAN from October 4, 1974.

More easy listening on WDBN - ID'ed to January 14, 1968 based on the news report - mixed in amongst various home recordings of kids and a poorly recorded party of sorts.

I have no idea who posted these, but find mysterious tapes and lost audio to be fascinating.
