The signal is a little weak since this was from when channel 59 first signed on in the spring of 1995. I received this off-air in New Britain's south end. What I'm trying to remember is just how long was it until the call letters became WBNE-TV? Also, just who was K-W TV, Inc. anyway?<P ID="signature">______________

From the FCC website:
WTVU became WBNE on 04/01/1996
WBNE became WCTX on 01/01/2001

I heard ages ago what K-W TV, inc. stood for, but I'll find out.

Wow, I remember that screen. I found on my TV one day accidentally. If I recall correctly, they just had the logo plastered on the screen like that for quite a long time, maybe even months.

Weren't they originally designated WELI-TV way back in the many years of the development stage they were in?
