Four More Years For Kidd Kraddick

The guy has certainly marketed himself pretty well. Personally I think his shining moment was nights on KEGL back in the dark ages, but money-wise he's certainly on to something.

I def agree. Kid copying Landecker's boogie check were really good days. We had no idea boogie check was conceived on WLS...it was before the internet. I'd listen to Kid at night if he were on...his morning show is too women targeted for my taste.

Good for him, but I'm a little surprised. I've been thinking for a while now that he seemed to be mentally checking out of the show. He's out of town a lot for other business deals, not in studio for several daily bits (left to Kellie or J-Si), seems more interested in that new Hollywood 5 segment, and just generally comes across as phoning it in.

I've listened for a long time, to Kidd and talk radio in general (everything from Mark Davis to NPR), and my instinct is that he's getting ready to hand the show off to J-Si and that insipid Jenna person who can't articulate words like "jewelry." Too bad, but I guess he can't stay hip and fun forever.
