Fox 10 loses an anchor

Ok, so I didn't put her name in the subject line cause I can't spell it, but Stephanie Sanderbel has left Fox 10, her last broadcast was the friday 10pm cast. On air she announced she's leaving and will be on Sonora Living in April. I was shocked that she said where and when she will be popping up again. They usually won't allow something like that, but it's live and they had some time to kill at the end of the broadcast.

It's Sandoval! (After all, you can check the glitzy new Fox10.com website! :D)

I wonder who is going to replace her. Honestly, they need to give Linda Williams a more high profile position. She is a valuable asset of Fox10 who is severely underutilized.

I figured it would of been gone from the website by the time the news hit. That's the difference between radio and tv when it comes to someone leaving or being let go. In radio, the talent's website bio is gone by the time the office door shuts to tell them the news. In tv, it takes a couple hours or even a day for it to be gone.

As of right now, Sandoval's bio is still up. I think it depends on how the person leaves the station. I bet Kent Dana's info was gone when he didn't renew his KPNX contract.

Good of Fox 10 to allow Sandoval a chance to sign off and thank their viewers while mentioning the name of a program on another station. I thought Marty Velasco Hames would eventually show up on Sonoran Living.

I agree that Linda Williams would do great work in the 10 p.m. weeknights slot.

Websites can be updated quickly, if it's deemed necessary. It all depends on the day of the week and the urgency. Obviously, Fox 10 didn't consider Sandoval a crucially important member of the newsteam. I noticed that Fox10 didn't put her on the new 6pm newscast with Troy. That probably sent her a sign!
