> Perhaps it was just a slip of the tongue. You've got to expect that - especially when the anchor or reporter is live. I watched CBS-5's (KPIX) 1906 Earthquake Anniversary Special last night. In a pre-recorded segment narrated by News Anchor Dana King, she talked about the chaos after the earthquake, and noted that the US Army sent in the "calvary." Obviously, "cavalry" was the word she meant - "calvary" is a religious term referring the the crucifixion of Christ. I don't what Dana's IQ is, but I assume she's reasonably intelligent, so we can cut her some slack. Obviously, the editor didn't catch the mistake either.
