Fox duopoly KTTV-KCOP Los Angeles (DMA 2) today appointed Erica Hill-Rodriguez vice president and news director. Effective Dec. 9, she will oversee all editorial, business and administrative functions for KTTV and KCOP News, reporting to the stations’ VP-GM Bill Lamb. She succeeds Kris Knutsen who left the stations in August.
Lamb said: “Our focus at KTTV is to give Southern California viewers better journalism, and Erica is a journalist’s news director. She brings an outstanding record of success at KCPQ and a sterling reputation as a leader, visionary, and strategic thinker. I am delighted she is joining our team.”
