Is it me, or does listening to WSAN's only local "SPORTS" programming make you feel like driving directly into the west bound side of 22 when traveling east bound.

I mean is Bob Holder really a sports radio host ?

Eric Chase (aka..B104's afternoon drive host) is his co-host ( so obviously he voice tracks) is awful too. While he has 248x more sports knowledge than Bob the befuddled Holder does...he is a whinny baby with an FM Pop voice.

No wonder FOX1470 hasnt dented WEEX/WTKZ ESPN Radio's ratings.

It's sad, b/c Fallon and crew at Nassau are no bargain, mainly boring and too sports talk related.

Sad.

And don't give me those bozo's on WGPA saturday morning either.


If Nassau (ESPN 1230/1320AM) had FOX 1470's signal, and money...they'd be better.

Sad theres no true sports talk station that is COMPLETE AROUND HERE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
What do u expect when they get someone from their sales department.And when u say that u hear his show :D,he turns into a peacock.LOOK @ ME! A classic case of mid life crisis for him.As for his cohost :D he knows alot more about the Jonas brothers than sports.Totally out of his own league.
 
At least as far as daytime goes, 1230 has the eastern end covered and 1320 has the western end covered. So in a way, it makes up for 1470's increased range.

Despite low ratings, 1470 must be making more money, I would guess, than when they were an oldies station. If this is the case, it would be ironic because they had much higher ratings when they played the oldies 24 hours a day.

It's all in the advertising dollars, not listeners.

I am guessing that is why 1470 is still mostly a sports station with some oldies and Italian songs thrown in.
 
Wow, no one has ever called me "whinny" before, but perhaps if they did, they would've spelled it correctly. And honestly my JoBro knowledge is severely lacking compared to my prime boy band days of Nsync and BSB. How bout Lance to win DWTS this upcoming season. Start that bandwagon now!

Those bozos are fortunate to have Tom Mcarthy of the Phillies broadcast staff call them on the air to discuss the Phillies. They also have had Ricky Bottalico, the color guy for the Iron Pigs call in. Have these other stations had guest like this?
