It will Happen October 30. Wonder if it will be unique or borring???

it'll be more than likely like the other fox O&O news sets all around the country.

Yep...the vaunted "Set In A Box"

See also: WTTG-5-DC, KDFW-4-Dallas.

Which begs the question: will KTBC-7-Austin get the new set even tho they installed their brand new set not more than two years ago?

It is unsure whether some of FOX's smaller markets will be making the changes, because supposedly FOX is still thinking about selling some of their smaller market stations like Austin, Memphis, and Birmingham. I think that will happen, simply because they are having to spend lots of money upgrading their larger market stations for HD equipment, these new news sets, and not to mention, they are losing lots of money on MY TV Network, which has been far below expectations.

Actually, Fox TV Stations is still over the cap and has to reallign by divesting of a few of their smaller market stations or one larger station. They have had Austin, Memphis, Bham, Greensboro and Milwaukee on the blocks for the last couple of years. I think the FCC just keeps extending their cap extension, but now that the Dems are in power, look for something sooner rather than later. The Dems for the most part HATE Murdock. Remember Fox News is the voicebox of the conservatives. The sad thing about this is comes from the fact that some of their smaller stations, like KTBC in Austin, is run by some talented managers while some of their larger market stations, like KRIV in Houston, are run by completely moronic airheads when it comes to broadcasting common sense.
