Fox 26 Runs The Same 20 Simpsons EPs

For the last 3 to 4 yrs Fox 26 runs the same 20 Simpsons For 3 months then they switch to 20 different eps this is just dumb. I just wish they would run more like 50 eps for 4 to 5 months not like 20

No idea what you're talking about.. but Fox 26 has NO control over that. They run what the syndicator sends them. That's the way it is for every station that runs The Simpsons in syndication.

He's right, and the same holds true with "The Big Bang Theory" on Fox 26 Houston. I actually saw the episode where Sheldon and Amy were doing the "Fun with Flags" youtube show twice in the last 2 weeks. The Leonard and Sheldon episode where Leonard tears up the roommate agreement aired 3 times in one month.

Tested is correct, DJ. KRIV has no control over it, and honestly it's been a surprise to me that 26 hasn't shoved "The Simpsons" over to KTXH and run something newer in that 6pm time slot. I'm actually surprised that "New Girl" hasn't been put into syndication yet. I don't get the show, but it seems to have a pretty good following.

Are they the high def Simpson episodes? Since you can get a season of the Simpsons now for $10, on sale, I can see where the incentive to run the older episodes is not as strong.

No. KRIV actually aired a slew of the '94-95 seasons within the last couple of months, but they were (as DJ said) the same 20 or so episodes over and over.
