FOX 26 undergoes a major transformation.

Just after KHOU-11 unveiled its new logo, KRIV also went under an extreme makeover, as they unveiled its new logo for the first time. It also have cool graphics, as it put its emphasis on its weather department-Hence the tagline: FOX-26: Your Gulf Coast Weather Authority. KRIV FOX-26 is relying more from FOX News Channel, as other FOX stations have already adopted this package.

I like the new look. Their old imaging was not worthy of an O&O in a top-10 market.

As has been previously posted, the Fox26 website won't get up until the last possible moment that won't get their GM in hot water with the Fox Corp suits. He is lazy, has unmotivated and disgruntled employees and will spread the development costs out as long as he can to make his monthly P&L numbers look good. This guy is all about how HE looks, not his employees, not the viewing public and certainly not his company. This is what has driven Fox26 into the ground compared to where it was before he arrived in 2000.

Yes, but this one is largly out of his control. That site will be up within a month or so. It won't be too long. If he's as lazy as you say, the new guys at Fox corporate will get rid of him sooner or later.

Dartagnan Bebel (sp.) is NO Jerry Marcus. Bebel came from WHBQ (A FOX Memphis Station). When he took over FOX 26 & MY20, he screwed everything up. I hope they WOULD fire him, and find somebody who knows how to run a better TV station=and how to run a website.

Well stated. All media professionals should strive to be like Jerry Marcus. He was a class act and a great operator. As for Bebel, most people who work within Fox (and those out too) know exactly why he is there in that GM position in a major market like Houston. Fox was slammed with diversification issues in the late 90's and it was unfortunate for Houston that Fox decided to deal with that issue in this market. Sooner or later he will be gone.
