Fox 29 reformats 10p newscast

WTXF is stupid doing this. It's clear why they will never beat WPHL at 10 anymore.

I saw the sample and thought the same way. They're clearly doing this because they're now losing in the ratings at their flagship 10:00 p.m. broadcast to WPVI's news on WPHL which has become way more successful and also, having the *Action News* brand helps.
 
Certainly not saying it can’t modernize, but what was once a journalistically sound, quality newscast has become…um, whatever that is.
