I turned to Fox 34 this afternoon to watch the news at 4, and instead they had the Bonnie Hunt show on.
When did Fox 34 cancel the 4pm news? I never saw an announcement, so I guess nobody was watching but I guess that also means Fox 34 is no longer competing for the late afternoon and early evening news audience.
 
I believe they recently added local news in the morning from 6-9am. I suspect the cost of doing that show forced them to ditch the 4pm news.
 
yes, they did indeed add a morning news block, but for a while they did both newscasts. In either case, I heard nothing about this, no fan fare at all.


Would have been nice of them to be square with their audience...
