Fox-4 reporter

For all the heated argument that went on here when she was suspended, I'm surprised no one has mentioned that the reporter who did the story about the junk-yard owner shooting the burglars lost her suit against the station. She sued because they didn't renew her contract, and accused them of discrimination. The jury saw otherwise.

I still say that the story shouldn't have aired like that. The reporter is not the one in charge for final say so for what goes out on the air. The editer, producer and many others had the chance to cut out her over zealous interview. But go ahead and fire the reporter that was looking for dirty laundry.

And I'm sure it aired more than once.

No, it aired only once. The phones blew up after it did. It's true that others were also responsible for this story.... but she was responsible for how she acted in the field. You should read Ed's reporting on this trial and you'll see that the station did the right thing.
