Fox 4's Video Vault

This is GREAT stuff, though much of it ran during "CT:25," the 25th anniversary salute to Clarice Tinsley in 2003. Great to see the late Gary Bazner doing weather again, although they missed running a sequence that showed him pulling down those huge sheets of plexi panels, seemingly from the sky, that showed the forecast maps. And Brad Sham with the black hair, beard and horn-rims...I still think of him looking that way even today. And Becky Oliver, the investigative reporter...nice clip, but they missed the classic promo of her yelling, "BACK OFF!" to some unsuspecting foil who tried to charge at her.

BTW, anyone have a clean copy of the news theme they used from Dec '78 on into the pre-Chip months of 1980? The one that runs behind the "THE 10:00 News" intro? And was later used for the short John McKay editorials that were sandwiched between the 10PM news and "All in the Family" through 1984? (And was also used here and there at KTBC in Austin.) I can't seem to find this one anywhere. It's not on any of the TV newstheme websites.

After a little brain-wracking, I came up with the name of the editorial short...it was called "Just a Minute."
