Fox 5 news edge expanded to 1 hour....

Just noticing Fox 5 News Edge is now 1 hour. Now, their late news is a total of 2 hours (10pm-12am). Are other FOX O&O's doing the same? That's almost as much local news as Sunbeam owned WSVN-7/Miami. I'm thinking it's a bit much, here.

Any thoughts?
 
No; WAGA, to the best of my knowledge, is the first and perhaps only station in the country with an hour-long late newscast at 11:00.

My guess is they're doing this because since WGCL gave her the pink slip the other month, there have been lots of speculation lately about Stephany Fisher headed to Fox 5 very soon. We'll see what happens in the coming weeks.
