Fox 5's website

Is it just me, or is it bad? The rez, the lack of a weather section (outside of a radar loop which looks like its from the mid 80s). What gives?

Well, it's a little better than the Houston Fox O&O website, fox26.com. Pretty much, it's just a home page with a link to fox.com. Wouldn't you think that the younger Fox audience would be more in to the 'net so the Fox stations have better (or at least decent) websites?

Ooh. KRIV's is atrocious.

Well, as the owner of the company that maintains the FOX5 Web site, I can tell you that improvements are coming here and in Houston. FOX5 and we have been working to make this happen for a while now...

I'm glad to hear improvements are coming to FOX5's site. I don't think their web site is so bad though, it looks different than your 'typical' News Site.. But I do agree that it needs a better Weather section and a better News section. Perhaps something like WTTG/Fox 5 DC's?

Soon. Corporate has an initiative to rework and grow all of the company's Web sites (a story announced last Friday). They've also invested more than $500 million in myspace.com, a story announced on Monday morning.
