Fox 61 Logo

What's the deal? Are they going to go with the new logo full time or just use it with the news?
Having 2 different logos seems really odd to me.
 
I agree, you would think they'd have everything uniform by now - it's been a few weeks already since they unveiled it on the news side.

But I have noticed that things at FOX61 usually move a little slower. I don't think it's their fault, they've always been a small organization, and probably don't have the technical staff to do the things we expect of other stations in this market (3, 8, and 30). Although this will probably change seeing all the staff they're adding and other changes taking place there.

I would imagine (and hope) that they use the new logo uniformally by the time they debut their new Fall lineup next month. They already have the new logo on their mics and other apparel, so I assume we'll see the new logo everywhere at some point.
 
This isn't the first time Tribune has used 2 different logos on one of their stations. When they had WLVI here, they continued to use the old "WB56" logo for maybe as long as a year after the rest of the station used the "Boston's WB" logo.
 
I could see them adding a noon newscast to compete with channel 3 and 8, but how are they going to pull off an 11 PM newscast? A newscast that's 95 minutes in length sure sounds strange.

The'll only do it from 10-11:30 not 10-11:35PM as the others do.
 
Perhaps they will roll out the new logo and graphics for all programming once the new Fall season kicks off in mid-September.
