Fox 96.7 & 103.1 FM New Morning Host

I was listening this morning. He was on the air with Lori G. I guess it is better to have two jocks on the air, but what will happen to Bob O? He was lucky to survive all these changes since CC sold Fox 96.7. I am getting used to all these changes but I kind of miss John and Mike. I guess more changes are in store for the Fox. After sounding so good, I was disappointed to hear "Sk8er Boi" by Avril Lavign. That is not an AC and not a good "in the office" song. I say that because right now I am working in a doctor's office and they (my co-workers) were like "turn this crap off". I was surprised. We just switched on Lite FM. Anyone know anything else going on at Fox 967 103.1?<P ID="signature">______________

John Roberts was filling in on Oldies 1220/1490 for Joe, and he said that there is going to be a new morning show on WGNYAM/WDLCAM soon. Ironically, during the show this morning they played a liner that said that Bob O was going to be at the grand opening of a resturant in Newburgh on Thursday. If Bob O is gone completely form Fox 96.7/Hits 103.1 then, this new show with Joe and Lori G. will be the third morning show that they've has since Apr. I just don't understand WGNY-FM any more. Here they start up a brand new format, and a few weeks into it, they get rid of their morning guy. Personally I thought Bob O was rather good. He had quite an upbeat personality for a morning show and I liked it. Everytime they get rid of a morning host, it seems Joe Manglass steps in each time. It's happened before. How in the world does Sunrise expect to gain ratings if they keep changing their hosts, especially this time around. Give the guy a chance.
It's interesting that Lori G (Greco) is back on WGNY-FM's airwaves. She was the morning co-host for quite some time with Dave Hunter a few years back.
They should put Dave O on middays or in the evening and get rid of the ABC jocks. Also I wish they would get their website right as to their jock lineup. The new guy Mike Coleman does 2 overnight shows on the weekends, not one as per their site.
Sunrise really needs to get it's act together. It is not a college station.

UPDATE! Bob O is not gone form Fox. He is still on mornings, but only on 96.7. 103.1 has Joe Manglass. Why in the world would they split their signal for the morning show only? Other stations like Lite FM 92.1 and 99.3 combine. What goes with Sunrise??? Any ideas?

You know what they say in politics...follow the money. PJRadio may be able to take in a fair amount of revenue with a local AM show. Same for WGNY. And both stations can claim plenty of local content. But I'd bet there is cash to be earned by both stations with local programming.
