Fox and CW both on Channel 44

I don't know how it works in other markets, but in markets where I live people start TV topics.

On the CW message board someone complained about turning to channel 44 using a new converter box and getting Fox, not CW.

Amazingly, the Fox station uses channel 44, which is the virtual channel for the CW station.

I'm surprised I haven't heard more about it. It shouldn't be allowed.

This Thread Should Be Moved To California TV

This Thread Belongs In the California TV Board. In fact, a lot of Bay Area TV Topics are discussed on that board.
