Fox Bangor morning news. Ayuh, you read that right

While perusing the www.wvii.com website, I saw a banner ad for the Fox Bangor Morning News at 7 a.m. starting Monday September 7th. The woman in the ad is reporter Nicole Gerber. I don't know who the man is.

Which brings me to ask the following questions:

1) Will there be a local news broadcast on WVII-7 too?

2) Will WVII/WFVX be trying harder to get out of 3rd place? (I remember in the mid 80's when they were doing a really good job with the evening newscast being an hour long and having WABI-5's Jim Morris as their news director, but I digress).

3) Will they tape this the night before? ::)

4) Will this mean HD?

Seriously, I wish them the best of luck!!!!

1) If it takes off, probably. They've done a talk show format before on both stations in the morning.

2) It's possible, it's a long way to the top...doing live news at 10 and 11 would help more though

3) Most likely, everything else is taped shortly after the 6pm news.

4) Yeah right, their "Sunday Morning Sports Page" isn't in HD, nor in their news. Some of their syndication isn't either even when when it's avail. in HD.
