This morning, I saw a promo on the Fox Business Network for the program "Stossel", which airs at 8pm (ET).
Included in the promo is a segment in which the announcer says "Uncle Sam stealing our independence?"
However, when those words appear on the screen, the word "independence" is spelled incorrectly...as shown on the following screen shot:

I've seen this word spelled incorrectly in casual conversation (such as on these message boards), which is somewhat acceptable (I guess). But I just think it's ridiculous that a nationally distributed cable/satellite network, owned by one of the world's biggest entertainment companies, could allow this to happen.
