Fox Business To Give Imus The Ol' Heave-Ho?

US News and World Report blogger Paul Bedard hears rumblings that Fox Business Network is mulling the cancellation of "Imus In The Morning" in favor of - imagine this - a business-oriented morning show:
http://www.usnews.com/news/blogs/wa...02/02/mission-accomplished-imus-may-leave-fox

A Fox Biz higher-up tells the magazine, "Imus has helped us enormously and he has awhile to go on his contract." Which, to me, could be interpreted as, "We thank the I-Man for what he's done for us up to this point, and contracts can be bought out."

.............and another one bites the dust.........
another one bites the dust
.............and another one gone.......
and another one gone.......
another one bites the dust.

Who do these old talkers think they are.............Joan Rivers????

It wouldn't come as a surprise if Fox Business dumped Imus. His show and even Imus himself is long in the tooth.
Fox executives were smart to bring Imus on board to help promote their fledging cable business network. Now that he's served that purpose Imus can be discarded.

i am suprised imus has been going as long as he has.

It would be great to get the I-Man off this reactionary channel. I cannot take any more Chris Wallace, Stuart Varney or Glen Beck, so after many years, I have bailed.

imus is a soso radio personality.hes a soso shock personality and a soso political comentator.i don`t understand the big deal about him and what he says.

i heard a recording of his top 40 radio days and he was entertaning.but that was around 1974 or so.

Time Warner Cable (here in Rochester NY) dropped the Fox Business Channel from their line up of stations months ago so I personally haven't seen Imus in a long time.

Congratulations to Charles McCord for his 48 year career in radio.

...it's an open secret that McCord ghost-wrote ALL of Imus' material -- including the book Imus was credited with, God's Other Son -- when Imus was too cokey and boozy to come up with stuff himself...
