FOX DOWN 16.6% THIS SEASON !!!

A good start would be canceling that "Raising Hope." Feels like something that might belong on ABC, in the vein of "Desperate Housewives" or "Ugly Betty".
I see why Fox is down nobody can watch them if they have dish network or cablevision. lol

Now, Running Wilde should be canceled. And they screwed up with Lone Star. And The Good Guys should be canceled soon as well.
Combine that with the fact that House is down 34% over last season, and I believe Glee is down, and it's not hard to see why Fox is down so much.
Of course, it will be interesting to see what happens when the post-cablevision numbers start coming in, or what happens when Dish actually drops them on Monday.
"Raising Hope" is not that bad. It's similar to "My Name Is Earl" and I think from the same folks who created Earl. "Going Wilde" is just a big mess. Strange name, strange concept, strange plots. It won't be around much longer.
Fox can look forward to the Super Bowl in February and their old secret weapon "American Idol" which is really getting lame......Glee is also working for them.

Oh really? Than how can you explain the complaints on America Most Wanted's Facebook Page whenever it's pre-empted for NASCAR or MLB? Also AMW is a public service. They tried canceling before and there was outrage.
I remember John Walsh saying something along the lines of "They got letters from the governors of 45 states demanding the show be put back on the air. We can't even get 45 governors to agree on how many stars there are on the American Flag, but this they agree on."

Would work well on CBS or even NBC on Saturday night as both network reruns their dramas which are mostly cop shows. It doesn't even seem to belong on FOX anymore.
Sunday is only time to watch FOX because of NFL and for MLB Saturday games and playoffs.
Maybe the ratings can pick up when American Idol starts.

As you can see from that statement, since last year they climbed higher than expected, when they returned to normal, it was a fall. Of course it was, because they were up higher than normal last year.
It all depends on how you want to skew your numbers
And the bottom line is: "Are they making money" and if so "are they maximizing their revenue." If so, the numbers are meaningless, as FOX and other networks are in the business for their stockholders not the viewers

Hey, Mark, I am just the messenger, I didn't make this up. Take it up with TV BY THE NUMBERS. I didn't skew anything.
They further state that this year's series games are not pulling in the numbers they did last year. The article implies that their programs are not doing as well either, which I think is also correct.
SORRY KTU, I thought the big story here was Fox down 16%, not Uni up 14%. You've only put up one post since you joined here!!! Let's us judge, nit pick some of your posts/ideas (WHEN YOU DECIDE TO PUT 'EM UP)!!!
As soon Fox ratings are up 20% I will be sure to post a NICE fluffy post about that. I have no interest in being on TV, but it would be NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS if I did. But I do have a degree in Broadcasting. Face the facts, 90% of the news is not SWEET, only 10% is. If you're looking for sweet watch the Disney channels.

Only true in the mind of Gregg. FOX and it's advertisers would be surprised when you break this news to them. Especially about Sunday, where they are very strong - especially in 18-34.
They probably need to ditch the prime time baseball playoffs. Yeah, I know, lots of people watch. But they aren't the same viewers who tune in to FOX the rest of the time. And, the ill-placed September/October playoffs totally put a halt to fresh episodes of the new PT season. Basically, FOX suspends viewer habits for a month just as viewers start to develop their viewing habits.
Calculate that in with the huge chunk of change that FOX paid MLB for this 'privilege' and it can't look too good for them. The bottom drops out of whatever temporary lift they get from the World Series as soon as it's over.
