fox dropping wilk

Yes, they did drop the show. Never seemed like Fox put a lot of effort into it.

well, thats true. fox and all its other stations dont seem to care about production,or anything else that they program. example.. 5 to 7 station promos in a row.. audio up and down....back to back competive spots.. anyway, it was good to hear rob neyhard on the air the last few days. ive said before, and ill say it again. he knows how to run a talk show. and no ..im not related to rob..

I'm surprised it lasted this long. 56 was looking for cheap programming. It never registered in the ratings. It never sold. It was simply bad TV and not at all entertaining.

your right nigelwick..they are really bad.. do you know who owns the fox stations? the also promo that the news at 10 is number one for the last x amount of years..but theres no other local news at ten..so they could have one person tuned in, and win...

Owner: New Age Media. I believe it's a group of investors, many local.

The TV simulcast could have worked if the radio show was an interesting product. It's not, and bad TV production values can't salvage a bad radio show.

There's a 10 PM broadcast on 16's digital sub channel. No one watches.

thanks nigel.. yes who wants to watch nancy put make up on, flip her hair back, rub her nose..and talk nonscence..it was bad all around..

It's too bad, but the show didn't exactly meet 21st century broadcast standards with the split screen and regular interruptions in the programming schedule. Now I believe Fox 56 is airing America's Funniest Home Videos in its place. Between their poor morning programming choices and plenty of paid programming on Fox 56, WSWB, and WQMY, it's a shame that the media group isn't trying to be competitive in the morning. And there are so many technical glitches, especially in the audio department.

yes, i agree with all the above posts about wilk, and fox 56..for a while i thought i was being a little harsh on them, but i get ticked off when i see whats happening with our local media, both tv and radio. it all sounds like the amateur hour.. thats why when i hear a rob neyhard, or someone from the old school of broadcasting, it makes me feel good.
