FOX Gives O.C. New Time Slot

Why would FOX move their hit show The O.C. to a different time slot. The same slot that CSI is also at which is 9:00 pm. If anything FOX should of moved the show back to Wednesdays at 9:00 pm where it started I believe.

Why would they move it to 9pm?

This is easy.

"The O.C." attracts a different demographic than "CSI". "The O.C." can stand on its' own.

And it will be getting help after the new season of American Idol starts. The results show will be The O.C.'s lead-in.
